In some situations, an ID check may need to be completed outside of the app.
This could include sending an ID check to a third party or other scenarios where in-app completion isn't suitable.
If your system is configured to allow unbundled ID checks, you can set one up so the recipient receives an email with a link, enabling them to complete the check outside of the app.
If your ID check is unbundled, follow these steps:
Access the Verification Link
Open the email from your solicitor inviting you to complete your identity check.
Review the email for details of the documentation required.
Click Click Here to Verify Your Identity.
Accept Data Sharing
4. Confirm that you are happy to share your data with Lavatek.
Verify Your Email
5. Enter your email address (must match the one where you received the invite link).
6. Select Send Verification Code.
7. Check your email for the code.
8. Copy the code and paste it into the verification screen.
Upload Your ID
9. Select Start Verification.
10. Complete the required information.
11. Tap Upload Document.
12. Choose Take Photo and use your phone to capture an image of your ID.
13. Tap Continue.
Take a Live Selfie
14. When prompted, allow access to your camera.
15. Follow the on-screen instructions to take your selfie.
Upload Proof of Address
16. Take a photo of a valid proof of address document.
17. Refer to the list of acceptable documents provided on-screen.
Complete Verification
18. Wait a few minutes for the verification process to complete.
19. Look for the on-screen confirmation that your identity has been successfully verified.
